Bubbles the Artistis the alter ego of world-renowned songwriter Allee Willis. Allee has either written or co- written numerous hit songs over her career resulting in sales of over 50,000,000 albums, CD's, etc.. A sample of songs you may recognize include:
September - performed by Earth, Wind & Fire; Boogie Wonderland - performed by Earth, Wind & Fire; Neutron Dance - performed by the Pointer Sisters (from the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack);
What Have I Done to Deserve This - performed by the Pet Shop Boys with guest Dusty Springfield; The Theme from Friends - performed by the Rembrandts
Allee Willis is currently working on the music for the Broadway production of "The Color Purple" which should be a smash hit. Beyond music, Allee has a huge collection of retro inspired memorabilia and lives in the former MGM Party House, which is a Streamline Moderne home in the Hollywood Hills that has been featured in both print and television. We could go on with a ton of other songs and projects Allee has been involved with, however, this art show is all about "Bubbles" and her body of work.
