March is just around the corner… and speaking of which, remember Alice speaking of the March Hare in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, "as this is May, it won't be raving mad - at least not so mad as it was in March."
Well, the phrase "Mad as a March Hare" came about because hares behave a bit 'wild' around this time of year due to the fact that it's their mating season. So in honor of March Hares and Lewis Carroll, I think our sing-a-long today shall be just a bit mad…
Here's a music clip to sing along with!
verymery.wavA very merry unbirthday to me.
To who? To me. Oh you!
A very merry unbirthday to you.
Who, me? Yes, you. Oh me!
Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea,
a very merry unbirthday to you!

Here is the famous poem by L. Maria Child that was set to music. Bet you didn't know the 2nd and 3rd verses? Gather your friends and family and sing-a-long!!!
1)
Over the river and through the wood,
To grandfather's house we go;
The horse knows the way, to carry the sleigh
Through the white and new drifted snow.
Over the river and through the wood,
Oh, how the wind does blow
It stings the toes, and bites the nose,
As over the ground we go.
2)
Over the river and through the wood,
To have a first rate play.
Hear the bells ring, "Ting-a-ling-ding!"
Hurray for Thanksgiving Day!
Over the river and through the wood
Trot fast, my dapple gray!
Spring over the ground, like a hunting hound!
For this is Thanksgiving Day.
3)
Over the River and through the wood,
And straight through the barnyard gate.
We seem to go extremely slow,
It is so hard to wait!
Over the river and through the wood,
Now grandmother's cap I spy!
Hurrah for the fun! Is the pudding done?
Hurrah for the pumpkin-pie!

Once in a while I like to burst out into song. It really helps if you also know the lyrics! Here's an old favorite of mine written by the Sherman Brothers. These are the same talented duo that wrote many of Annette Funicello's hit and other Disney favorites.
Great Big Beautiful TomorrowFrom the 1964-65 World's Fair Carosel of ProgressThere's a great big beautiful tomorrow
Shinin' at the end of ev'ry day
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow's just a dream away
Man has a dream and that's the start
He follows his dream with mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me
